Unfortunately, the larger companies such as yahoo or Google who offer Pay Per Click advertising seemingly make money irrespective of whether the clicks are as a result of fraud or authentic.

In fairness to Google.com, they have put in four layers of security to try to catch click fraudsters. A great deal of the people who may click Adsense ads fraudulently, like those frauders referenced above, would be stopped by these stricter security measures.

As a rule, Google doesn’t reveal any details on how they fight click fraud. However, they are monitoring everything from IP and duplicate clicks to clicking patterns and manual examination.
